Sapphire is one of the varieties of corundum, which is largely used in jewellery. The most precious shade of Sapphire is the cornflower blue, which is known as Cornflower Blue Sapphire or Kashmir Sapphire.

Healing Properties

Sapphire offers benefits, like:

  • Physical Healing

Blue Sapphire is believed to heal all the parts of the body whether used as an elixir or externally. It is considered as a treatment of insomnia, and the elixir of Sapphire is regarded as a purifier which must be used when the season changes.

Blue Sapphire is curative for infections of the eyes, headaches, nose bleeds, fever, and issues of the ears, including infection, hearing, and vertigo. Moreover, Blue Sapphire also holds therapeutic values for diseases, like thyroid, speech and communication, swollen glands, nervous system, dementia, degenerative diseases, and blood disorders.

  • Heals and Balances Chakra

The powerful blue Rays of Sapphire are superlative for development and employment of the third eye and throat Chakras. Working in harmony, these chakras helps a person to be in connection with his inner vision, and also keep the focus and capability to communicate his vision to others in an efficient manner.

Blue Sapphire arouses the throat chakra, which is the voice of one’s body. If it is blocked, it will affect all the other chakras as well. The throat chakra is meant to make a balance of thoughts, ideas, and emotions in a human being so that he can express it with clarity in front of the world without any hesitation. Blue crystal energy of Sapphire unblocks and balances the Throat Chakra.

The darker blue shades of Sapphire also stimulate the third eye chakra, which is the centre of our awareness and command, and directs our viewpoint towards things.

  • Spiritual Healer

Sapphire is a stone of saintly power and good judgment, which fetches riches and affluence and helps in sustaining the gifts of existence. It has the propensity to focus, originate and emit its energy towards fulfilling desires and dreams of the wearer.

Blue Sapphire is the element of wind, and a stone that activates the higher mind. It opens consciousness and communication with others and inspires one’s inner sense of knowing, telepathic perception, and psychic visions. Being a stone of wisdom, it increases the ability to learn and strengthens the mind to overcome negative situations.

Blue Sapphire is also considered an excellent stone for past-life therapies. It can also be used to augment hypnosis and reverie states.

  • Act as an Emotional Healer

Sapphire liberates the wearer from the emotional torments, and the inner shackles that bounds him to do certain things. It can be a useful aid in treatments of neuroses and psychosis. It releases depression and lightens the mood thereby bringing calmness and freshness in the body.

Blue Sapphire supports those who get influenced by the ideas and opinions of others very easily. It upholds a complete understanding of the identity that the wearer holds and assists him in feeling more secure in their judgments and knowledge.
