Rightly called as, “The Stone of Heaven”, Azurite embodies a deep and profound blue color that no other stone has. Azurite stone has been known since prehistoric times, and it takes its name from an ancient Persian word that means 'Blue Color'. Although, Azurite occurs as a crystal, it is usually found with a very rough texture.
