New Fashion Trends Spotted At CFDA 2015 Awards

Every year when the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) holds their fashion awards, the celebrities make sure that the event is well reported. At the CFDA Fashion Awards 2015 we saw quite a few new style statements being flanked by the celebrities. We spotted the stars sporting dark eye make-up, nude lips, center-parted hair and some also boldly colored their lips with crimson. But that was not all. Some stars came up with their own quirky statements as well which left us bewildered and startled.

Jemima Kirke

After Miley Cyrus flashed her hairy armpit it was turn for Jemima Kirke to do the same. We don’t know whether she took recent grooming lessons from Miley or whether it was her way of becoming a part of a trend. Apart from “raising her arms” during the CFDA’s Snapchat story, she did look stunning in a red Rosie Assoulin.

Emmy Rossum

The American actress and singer-songwriter didn’t make the usual red carpet entry. Instead of flashing symmetrically manicured fingers, Emmy sported asymmetrical metallic charcoal and nude nail art. The nail art were perfectly complementing her Chrysler building–inspired Paul Andrew shoes – perhaps manicurist Katie Jane Hughes of Butter London matched it intentionally.

January Jones

What immediately caught our attention when the ‘Mad Men’ actress entered the red carpet was her stunning Irene Neuwirth necklace. But we will remember the necklace for different reasons. Early the next morning she posted a fresh-faced, flawless no-makeup selfie on Instagram with the caption, “It’s always fun to wake up with your jewels on. Prickly but fun. It makes you feel serious. @ireneneuwirth I can’t figure out how to take the f—ker off. It’s pretty serious about wanting to keep me." #wokeuplikethis indeed!”All we can say after seeing her post was she did look a little sleepy but charming nevertheless.
