Jewelry Brand David Yurman Readies Colored Ads For The First Time

After years of sticking to black-and-white images for its advertisement campaigns, famous jewelry brand David Yurman is ready with its all-color ads for the upcoming holiday season. The colored ad campaign features Kate Moss, a long-time model for Yurman, and newcomer Anna Ewers.

According to media reports, the colored ads are expected to hit the stands very soon. The ads will appear in print, digital and outdoors after the November issues of fashion magazines are out later this week.

The ad campaign has been styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele while the fashion photographers appointed for the job are Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. The models are seen wearing layers of fine jewelry that include pave gemstone designs and 18-karat pieces.

According to a statement released by the brand, the images “celebrate the spontaneous moments and multiple expressions of the brand.”

Sybil Yurman, the co-founder of the brand said that the objective of the latest campaign was to
“extend the language of jewelry and the expression of artistry.” She said that the brand wanted to introduce colors so that they could evoke joy, life, and lightness and also showcase the spirit of playfulness. The colorful images also signal empowerment and confidence, said Sybil.
