Swarovski recently bagged the award for the Best Statement Jewelry and Lust-Have category at the Cosmopolitan Awards. Swarovski was given the award based on the vote of over 10,000 online readers who voted for the high-street jewelry brand. Additionally, the category was also judged by an expert panel consisting of Jameela Jamil, Farrah Storr (Cosmopolitan’s editor), Louise O’Reilly, and Shelly Vella (Cosmopolitan’s fashion and style director). These Cosmopolitan awards are given to promote high street retailing.
The other top winners at the event were Topshop, New Look, Evans, Next and H&M. Swarovski won two awards at the event – the only company to do so. It won the Best Statement Jewelry award for the second consecutive year.
Mark Warren, Swarovski’s UK and Ireland retail director said that the huge consumer connect and success was due to the fact that the company had gone back to basics to transform itself. The brand has re-looked at its systems and process to reduce task based jobs in store and herald in more refined structures, he said.
Warren went on to comment on how the training managers spend a lot of time ensuring that everyone, especially the brand ambassadors are trained to target consumers and product collections.
