Pandora Jewelry Partners with BBC for Charity

Danish jewelry makers, Pandora recently announced that it is tying a partnership with BBC Children in Need. The partnership will officially kick start on October 5, 2015 and will have Pandora work towards raising funds for disadvantaged children across the United Kingdom.

Pandora has released a bespoke sterling silver Pudsey charm for promoting the campaign. The Pudsey charm which is based on the charity’s famous mascot is intricately embellished with colored gemstones. The jewelry makers will be selling the charm across all Pandora stores. Priced at £40, 20% of sale will directly go for the charity.

Expressing their happiness upon the partnership, the president of Pandora, Western Europe, Peter A. Anderson said that the group was delighted to work with BBC Children in Need. He also mentioned that hoped the new Pudsey charm would help create awareness about the incredibly important cause.

The campaign was kick started with an exclusive afternoon tea which was attended by TV star Millie Mackintosh. The event was held at Pandora’s Flagship Marble Arch store on September 23.

Pandora was earlier associated with other charities such as ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the British Heart Foundation
