Manufacture’s of the Man-Made Diamond band together
The association of the Man-Made Diamond manufactures termed as IGDA aside from promoting the Man-Made Diamonds too educates the customers about them. The International Grown Diamond Association is the new group to endorse created diamonds in the market for the diamond lovers.
The International Grown Diamond Association (IGDA), is a new group established to support as well as educate the jewelry lovers about lab-grown diamonds. IGDA, a U.S based association would encourage as well as teach, inform clients about the created diamonds. IGDA represents the diamond industry, as they are the leading diamond miners who formed a group to publicize the benefits of the natural gems along with the crafted diamonds. As per the beliefs of the diamond miners and ethic rules of the association, the terminology synthetic w.r.t lab-grown diamonds is erroneous and ambiguous for the end-consumer. The association instead give support to the words such as cultivated diamonds, lab-grown diamonds or cultured or grown diamonds. Only one of these mentioned terms emerges on the FTC (Federal Trade Commission’s) list of approved names such as synthetic, laboratory-grown as well as the company created. Further, the FTC permits cultured if accompanied by one of the sanctioned words. Among the affairs that the established firms desired to tackle, the ISO’s (the International Organisation for Standardization) new diamond guidelines as well as attempts to persuade or say influence the FTC’s guidelines. Tom Chatham, CEO of the one member, portrays that if people are in concert in an organization, then it would give them more recognition than working as an independent jeweler/miner.
