A 3% rise in November Jewelry & Watch U.S. sales
As per the provisional numbers of the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the jewelry and watch sales in the U.S. have shown a 3.3% of the hike to the y-o-y estimation of $6.9 billion in the month of November 2015. The November jewelry and watch sales rise of 3.3%, corresponding ones from a year earlier beats the October growth rate of 1.9%.
As claimed by the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the U.S. retail outlet that sales jewelry and watch enjoys the increment of 3.3 % y-o-y to an estimated figure of $6.9 billion in the month of November of the year 2015. As per the News estimates, the jewelry sales in the U.S jewelry market have gone up to 3.3% in the month of November as contrasted with the comparable sales (figures) from a year earlier to $6.1 billion. The month’s sales too beat the previous month (October’s) growth rate of 1.9%, thus comes against a fall of 1.4% in the U.S. consumer price index for jewelry in November. The November sales go up as compared to the previous month and experience a fall off from the last year. Watch sales rose up to 3.8% to $811 million Y-O-Y, both watches, and jewelry experience the growth in seven consecutive months after the decline of five successive months, i.e., between December 2014 and April 2015. As per the recent stats from the U.S. Census Bureau, the sales of U.S. specialty jewelry store racked the decrease of 0.4% y-o-y to $2.1 billion in October. Further, the overall sales of the U.S retail stores get the hike of 0.2% m-o-m and 1.4% y-o-y as per the Bloomberg report.
