The jewelry manufacturer has traveled to Japan with a couple of events in hand. The first event, which recently concluded, was at the Hankyu British Fair at Fukuoka that is hosted by the famous Hankyu department store. The next event where the brand will take part is the week-long British Fair event in its flagship Osaka premises.

The Kirkwall-based firm is on an expansion mode as a part of its mission is to revitalize the brand and make it grow from strength to strength.

Mike Gardens, the managing director of Ortak said that since the Japanese are interested in high quality, British good are very popular in the island nation. He said Japan is an important market for businesses like theirs. Gardens also noted that Ortak was already visited by several Japanese key buyers and he noted that attendance in such fairs was vital in their expansion plans.
