Israel Diamond Week's Fourth Edition To Be Held In New York From Mid-October

The fourth edition of the Israel Diamond Week in New York has been scheduled for October 19-22. The decision was made by the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC) recently. The event will be held on 580 Fifth Avenue, in midtown Manhattan’s DDc’s trading center.
The organizers of the upcoming event areexpecting to see positive reviews this year as well. The IDE president ShmuelSchnitzersaid that after previous years’positive business results, he was expecting a similar outcome this year as well. He said that the reason for this positivity was because IDE has everything that is in demand in the American market. Moreover, IDE will be working to offer the right products for the upcoming holiday sales season, he added. 100 bourse members are expected to participate in the event.
Echoing similar thoughts, DDC president Reuven Kaufman said that in the four years, the business ties between the two members have improved, and there is further scope of improvement. Kaufman said considering the synergy between Israel’s and New York’s diamond trade, bigger business volumes could be expected.
